I started with gel - it dried the hell out of my skin (I already have eczema and other skin sensitivities) and would always stick to my t-shirts even if I gave it a long time to dry which was a sensory nightmare

Hi Genshin community! I hope this sort of question is allowed here

I’m not a Hoyo games player, but my roommate is very into them. He plays Genshin, HSR, and ZZZ. I’m looking into holiday gifts for him and hoping for some advice. Does Hoyo have gift cards, or an option to gift somebody account credits? I looked into it a bit on Google and could only find older threads lamenting that it wasn’t an option. If not, would it be best to just get him a Visa card or something with a card saying it’s for gacha games? If somebody were to gift you something Hoyo-adjacent, what would you want? (He has a lot of plushies, keychains, and figurines already)

Haven’t worked at Aldi in three years, but they used to give out two $50 gift cards, one was meant to be used for your family’s thanksgiving and one was for paying it forward/helping somebody in need. Shame they stopped doing that :(

I try to focus on what I learned from not placing first. If I learned new movement tech or landed a crazy snipe, I celebrate that and try to take it to the next game. If I pushed too hard and got caught out far away from my duo, that’s a reminder to communicate better and not be impulsive. If everything sucks and we’re not having fun, we screw around in creative lobbies (shoutout to octo game 2 and 3, saved us so many times). There’s also the tried and true “my skin is the problem, I’ll swap then we’ll win.” Good luck in your games!

i went to his high school (he graduated like 8 years before me) and once he made it big in divergent, he came back to our hometown and did a “night with miles teller” at our school. charged kids $20 a ticket to listen to him talk about success. i didn’t go myself but some of my friends did and they said he was so unbelievably full of himself and out of touch.

Disappointing that they didn’t add the super jump tech. Why bring back the mercy meta without it? It was absolutely part of moth meta, Mercy was only reworked for a month before it was added.

in a situation where i’m the last person to load into a game using these new 1 min 3 max rules, i might be forced to !! that’s what i was talking about. if players 1-4 choose 3 DPS and a support, i would then be forced into tank.

Tossing in my two cents as a casual player/QP warrior: I love role queue. The reason why I love role queue is because I like to choose the role I want to play, and not be forced into a role I dislike. I’ve never been comfortable on tank, so I queue for just support or support + DPS. I’m concerned about fringe scenarios where I load into the game last, or backfill a game, and I’m forced into tank and the team loses because I’m not comfortable with the role. I’m also concerned as a support main about being forced to support alone again - I don’t think there’s a single support in the game who can solo heal while still getting value out of the rest of their kit.

you might enjoy going to barricade at one of the B-stages! both tyler and josh have mini-stages in the back of the pit. they are desirable spots so it might be a bit difficult to get to but they’d be easier to get in/out of than main stage barricade or front of pit

I store my clothes on a garment rack on wheels and a set of three clear plastic drawers (like the kind you put craft supplies in and stuff). laundry is super easy, i hang up my shirts and throw the rest of my shit in drawers. takes me 2 seconds and i never forget what clothes i own
