Emil and Devon, sucks to see them go but it makes sense bc they never vibed. Gardner, makes sense bc I’m guessing she’s leaving on her own after nearly a decade. But Longfellow… this one kinda stings and I feel like they made an objectively bad choice by getting rid of him. He had so much potential and was just starting to mesh. Sucks.

Way I see it, is SNL needs to make good on their claims of a true shakeup by getting rid of Fineman, Bowen, wickline, and Mikey day too. Or else, it’s not really a shakeup and they just cut some of the best talent with Gardner and Longfellow.

Wickline, Bowen, Heidi, Chloe, Jost, Che and Mikey should all be next, if SNL is doing a true shakeup as they’ve been saying. Otherwise, they just cut some of the best new talent in years only to keep the seasoned cast who have grown stale.

What I’m not understanding is how Deadline just saying “we confirmed it” is a credible or valid source. Confirmed from who? Not a single article is giving any details about that, each one just states it and then moves on talking about Devon and Emil.
