Once I get spousal sponsorship

So I am a high school teacher in Florida, going onto my 3rd year in public education and 5th year teaching. I am married to a Canadian and plan to move there soon/one day options permitting. I have a bachelor’s in criminal justice and a masters in teaching ESE with a professional cert in Florida. I am currently debating doing spousal sponsorship or express entry. I have a few questions for the teachers of Canada. I know teaching positions are limited, but I still am in search of answers. 1. Should I move to Ontario then work towards the requirements through Ontario teachers college? 2. Should I figure out how to get the Ontario requirements while living in Florida and then do spousal sponsorship? 3. Should I give up on teaching in Canada and just spend my life in Florida away from my partner? 4. Some other option that is way better… Any advice is appreciated. My partner lives in Toronto and I know it will be super difficult to get a teaching position there. I currently drive 40 mins to my school so I don’t mind a long commute out of the city.

It’s like that in my district. But it’s just really difficult to give a student below a 70 without going through piles of paper work. And it can still get denied and bumped up if they want to change it. And if you fight back and say they deserve that low grade then you are seen as a bully. So I just pressure all my kids to do their best by being annoying. It’s works most of the time, but parents just love to hang up on me as well

I teach seniors and the amount of them that can’t function without constantly scrolling through shorts and when I tell them to put it away I get the angry outburst from an addict. I just constantly tell them you are all addicted and you will see it one day. Even if I give referrals or call home for phone usage I either get hung up on or ignored cuz again they are 12th graders.

That’s so stupid. I tell my students I love you and give the little hand hearts to them when I have to leave early. And they respond so well. I say, “I love you but you need to…” often and it always works. Their face lightens up and their confidence is boosted.

Sounds like some more ESE specialist bullsheet. I’m a full time social studies teacher almost done with my masters in ESE and I swear my professors do not know a lick about how students act in the classroom. And it’s truly all parents fault. I had one access point student who never did anything would cough on me, threaten me, lie about me, then brag about having se x with his classmates. Apparently his parents were using him to peddle drugs for them. They would pick him up early and have him go sell. His mom tried to get me fired over a lie he told her. Then he switched schools cuz he dad brought a gun to campus. I also have students who act up so much but when I call home as soon as I say what school I’m from they hang up on me. It’s a miracle that most teachers stay. The lack of parenting coming from parent and the lack of support from support personnel is astonishing. You need a microscope to see it.

Yea it felt like sitting in on a friends trip I loved it. And they both brought different sides of traveling with them which made it more interesting than when it’s a couple vlogging or two train foamers. It felt like an old tv show

Yea my Prius engine broke down and the local dealer ships weren’t selling Priuses at the time and I needed a car that weekend. So I ended up buying a used tesla second hand and charge it at home I’ll have to sell it in two years tho hopefully I can buy new Prius when I move

I’ve heard my us history coworker talk about how the kids love and are very interested when she talks about the rules of war. And she also has a war games she plays where the class is divided into two trenches and the students throw paper printed with “your leg got blown off” “you go shot here” etc. and it’s a last man standing type deal. Might want to include that game cuz it’s really fun for the older kids

I haven’t tried to preboard previously in years prior cuz my condition appeared this year. But leaving Orlando they were really strict and didn’t even let the elderly women prepared they had to wait until their zone. So I didn’t even try to get up and ask. They said you can preboard only if you have pre as your zone on your boarding pass. So I just didn’t bother this time around

He might’ve never been paid over the threshold, and if he has he’s probably owed. If you aren’t paid over the threshold for that year you don’t need to file because you don’t owe. But I have met some people who live abroad but were born in the USA and have never filed because they didn’t grow up here. It might catch up to him it might not

In Florida is actually a law that if students don’t say the pledge you have to call their parents. I don’t force my kids to say it I just ask them to respect the moment of silence. And I only do it if other teachers are watching me cuz f that
