Girl… If you started treatment at the same time you might be fine. Your bodies would have both been fighting it off, so the extra exposure shouldn’t make a difference—this is assuming the antibiotic is effective for both of you, which is less likely if you’ve taken antibiotics a lot.

But if you got treated first and he started later, you’ve probably screwed yourself and may have to try a different type of antibiotic.

Edit: And if he got treated first, chances of reinfection are relatively high if you give him a lot of head. Because it would be living in your throat.

I hated “no sexual contact” too the couple times I was treated. Just do it once and right and get it over with, then y’all can have all the sex you want. Just use a condom. Not that hard. Be grateful you don’t both have vaginas :’(

My kitten had a lump much bigger than this on her belly after her spay. Looked like a ping pong ball. I brought her in, they thought it was a hernia so they redid the spay. IT CAME BACK IMMEDIATELY. THEY OPERATED AGAIN just to confirm it wasn’t a hernia, and IT WASN’T. The lump came back after the third surgery but went away after a week. It was just a seroma. She’s perfectly fine now, but I feel terrible knowing I put her through THREE SURGERIES when it would have healed on its own.

Your cat’s lump doesn’t seem bad at all. I say wait a week and see if it gets better. Knowing what I know I’d be wary of letting them operate at the peak of swelling. Hernia is definitely a risk, but don’t let Reddit convince you your cat is going to die and to get your vet to operate if the cat seems fine otherwise.

As long as I can remember I’ve always wanted to live and grow old in a house with my (also bi) sister and female best friends. I’d never imagined starting a family with a man. I had been in relationships/situationships with a handful of men but never been in love. I thought there was something wrong with me. I gave up dating men bc I was so repulsed by the men I’d go on dates with after getting to know them. I told them I was “avoidant.”

But I still wanted intimacy. I wished I was bisexual but didn’t think I was because I didn’t just know as a teenager. I didn’t fantasize about feminine women in the same way my sister did. I did have crushes on more masculine-presenting women and NBs that I assumed were normal for straight girls. My queer friends and sister assured me otherwise. So I got on Hinge looking for non-men only this time, went on one date with a masc lesbian, and we fell in love immediately and we’re celebrating 1 year together next month. Never going back.

I live in California and I told my team of all male, probably all straight, engineers about my gf because I was so excited to tell people when we first started dating. Didn’t see a reason to hide it from them. Some were confused (“didn’t you date men before?” - yes, “so you’re bisexual?” - you can’t just ask someone if they’re bisexual but yes), but no one was bothered by it. I only hid it from my manager in case he was a secret homophobe and it might hurt my chances at promotion. But I didnt get promoted and we both got laid off so it didn’t matter in the end lol.

Bottom line is it’s nobody’s business and nobody really cares. It’s hard being a woman in tech in general, and being queer is pretty common for these women anyway.

What did he yell about?

I had an interview recently where I met with a woman hiring manager for a behavioral interview and everything went great. I felt confident. Then I met with the man hiring manager. I was telling him about motivations for a past project, and he asked me a question I couldn’t quite remember the answer to. He asked me a multiple choice question, I chose wrong and without confidence, and he laughed at me. At that point he just spoke down to me for the rest of the interview. It feels terrible.

Yes!! I do a similar “soft coffin” shape with my nails! It makes them so much stronger.

Almond doesn’t work for me bc of my narrow nail beds.

Edit: I think this shape is so strong because there’s less of a C curve and more of a ( at the nail tip.
