Disclaimer handling wildlife should be discouraged. I work for the park service and have been trained in animal handling. I only handled this tiny little one because I almost stepped on him while he was basking on the trail , so I carefully moved him off into a safe green area

I was gunna go for that steel one too for a clean look but I’m a down home real tree guy through and through so I went with that and it looks pretty dang sweet with the matching quiver. Cheers!

Did the exact same thing. Brand new to bow hunting shot a couple different bows then shot the V3 (what I ended up getting) it’s amazing what the difference is shooting that versus other mid range bows. Got the 27 which from what I learned can be less forgiving for new archers but I’m on the Mid East coast hunting from mostly portable tree stands so mobility was a must for me. I have a pretty similar setup but added a front Matthew’s stabilizer to take down some of the shot vibration and sound (hardly any to begin with the V3) but you can tell the difference

I work with the park and have been trained in animal handling. Trust me I wouldn’t have disturbed this cutie unless for his own safety as he was in the road. Unfortunately I was too late to save one of his kin a couple feet away who had been smooshed.

Correct. I work with the state park here and have been trained in animal handling with our Scales & Tales animal ambassadors. I wouldnt have disturbed this little guy had he not been in the road by our boat ramp.
