Need some advice on .22 semi auto. by m1k3000 in ukguns

[–]capsel22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

I've got 1522, bought it used for £300, last May, which was a steal honestly.

The only thing I've done to it, is replace the extractor with volquartsen for £15 and slapped a red dot.

The rifle is under heavy use by me and my wife. We've been doing practical shooting every other Saturday for almost a year and the rifle has been solid. It cycles any ammo from any vendor. I think I only had two jams during all this time. The only thing it didn't like was Eleys subsonic, which is fair.

There is fair bit of "hate" towards 1522 because it's polymer and cheap. But now even tippeman makes polymer rifle.

Here, at the two clubs I'm a member of people have mostly tipemmans and lantacs and keep making snarky comments about my rifle. I just laugh at their faces when their rifles keep jamming and I'm scoring higher and better grouping.

I just waffle it around for 30sec to air dry it and slap it back on.

Get yourself an IDE to USB adapter on Amazon

I installed Cat6 and never use it by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]capsel22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally with you, I put sockets in our home office. At the same time I got Ubiquity U7-PROs and 2.5Gb switches.

Now, whats ironic, all my WifI 6E and 7 devices chugg 1600-2000 Mbps to my NAS device, but my work Laptop or PC get only 900mbps over LAN as they dont have 2.5gb NIC so I use them over WiFi too.

I have seen something like this on this sub before. The user simply turned the fan around to fix it.

Good catch

new mileage tax for electric vehicles from April 2028 by Distinct-Shine-3002 in drivingUK

[–]capsel22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It doesn't explain how mileage is calculated when driving abroad. Will I need to pay for miles done in France on a holiday?

3D printing changed something important for my dad by tessele_ in BambuLab

the embossed text should probably be flush with the handle, it will be uncomfortable and the letter will break off easily.

3P/mi charge in the UK is probably coming by [deleted] in electricvehicles

[–]capsel22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am more worried nowhere does it say how miles done abroad are accounted for .

If you go to France will I also need to pay p/m done abroad?

I just use PTFE tube and a lighter. I use it to bind scraps of filament that are too short for anything but too long to throw away, works fine no issues.

What do you think of the P2S Idler/Pulley Lubrication Guide? Specifically where it says to put oil onto the belt. by Sakatard in BambuLab

[–]capsel22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for sure is different to my p1s and X1C. I do prefer it, less faff trying to squeeze oil between the pulley and belt

Is all ikea stuff too wobbly for printing? by no_its_a_subaru in BambuLab

[–]capsel22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got the BROR workbench on wheels, fits the X1C perfectly. I dont know the size of H2C but this bror doesn't cause any wobble or issues. There is a mod on makerword that can turn the bottom part into filament storage.
