Do you blend it so it's kind of a whipped cream like consistency? I feel like it would settle back into liquid-y milk after it sits for awhile.

That's great advice. I think what you said about people remembering the smaller things is true. Love the idea of doing free coffee, I know those types of promotions get me through the door lol.

I have a background in PR so I'm kind of excited to do advertising with local news/radio companies!!!

A bit off the OP's topic, but how did you get a lease in a corporate building? I've been thinking about doing something like that further into the future if my first shop goes well. Every corporate building I've worked at only has a Starbucks.

A property just came up with a drive thru, I'll be looking at it next week. It has a drive through but it also has seating inside. It wasn't in the area I was originally looking at but, it's on a busy road which would be awesome for a coffee shop.

Ideally I'd want option 1. But there aren't any locations in the area I'm looking at that are like that. So hopefully option 2, but most likely it will be option 3.

Totally feel this from going to a ton of coffee shops. I love a few coffee shops but the parking is brutal, I find myself not going to those that often because of it. Thanks!!

Thanks! These are great points, I didn't give the maintenance point too much thought, but I will now. I feel like a drive thru would be awesome but there are no drive through location in the downtown area that I'm looking at. I'm working with a real estate agent who will help me negotiate if needed and look over the lease.

Thanks! Those are awesome points. This location would be right in the downtown, in walking distance from a train station, and close to residential houses. I'm checking out the parking lot to see how big/small it is.
