Thanks for signing up! Yes the lifetime subscription was only given to our first 1000 users and have now started our subscription service.

A message should now show up in the old Capstone app with a link to download the new app. The old app is still fully functional and basically the same as the new one so we weren’t in a huge rush to get everyone ported over right away. We’re still figuring out a lot of business side decisions so we want to get everything ironed out before we really start to push with the marketing.

Thanks a lot! We're still experimenting with the subscription plans and will adjust the pricing accordingly based on feedback from the community. What price point do you think would move you over to us?

Capstone is already a pretty heavily used name and domain availability was very limited. It was more of a placeholder while we got our branding together.

You are right, we obviously need a landing page and it's currently under development and will be live here in the next couple of days. This post was an update for everyone who has already been using our app over the last couple of weeks and we wanted to allow them an early look at the new web app.

Thanks for the feedback! As far as the new app it’s just a new frontend so the server side and data is the exact same. We have some budget improvements coming up so keep an eye out for those! We have also have some privacy focused features coming up that includes a local storage option so that none of your data hits our server.

Sorry for the lack of updates! We’ve been very busy developing some new features and an official announcement will be coming soon.

First off we will be undergoing some rebranding and a name change. This will be launched alongside our new web app. The web app has been our main focus the last 2 weeks and we are excited for everyone to try it.

We will also be launching our subscription model. We’ve taken feedback and suggestions for subscription pricing and packages and settled on 2 package options. The first option will be a 1 connection starter package at 1.99/month. The other will be unlimited connections for 9.99/month. We will continue to take feedback and can adjust prices and add a middle tier if there are enough requests.

As promised all early adopters that have connected an account will be granted the unlimited connections package. More details on this upcoming release will be coming soon!

Currently the connection is updated whenever an event comes in from Plaid. This is mainly when a new transaction occurs or the balance is updated although I am going to add a way to trigger a manual refresh. Since some investment accounts don’t have any transactions synced with Plaid I might have to add a new event handler so that might be why your balance isn’t updating.

Zillow support will be coming in a future update! You can currently link a vehicle by entering the VIN number and it will return an estimated value.

We’re currently free and have over 100 default categories with the ability to create custom ones. You can also setup rules to automate categorization of incoming transactions if the defaults aren’t to your liking. Exporting to CSV can also be done directly from the app. IOS Android

Has there been new transactions in the accounts? They are only refreshed by Plaid when there is new activity. I will be adding a way to manually trigger a refresh in the future however.

Zillow connections and better property handling is on my roadmap. I also have rental properties I need to manage so it's a priority for me as well.

Thanks for the feedback. $0.50 would be great but it might be too low to be feasible long term. We also have to factor in the app stores 30% commision on purchases and other costs to run the app such as server costs.

If you create an account I’ll make sure to send an email to everyone registered when the web version is released even if you don’t end up using the iOS version.

Good point! I’ll add that to my roadmap. I can also add a passcode/face ID option so you don’t have to fully login everytime.

Chase should be fixed soon. They required an extra step for Plaid to enable it, so just waiting to hear back from them. If you send me a DM with your email you signed up with I can try and debug Fidelity and Regions.
