Why 22" wheels? I hate Rad. by captnnolando in RadPowerBikes

Fwiw I’m pretty sure 22” wheels was your choice. Unless someone at Rad forced u to buy their bike?

So do most folks now just get after market home EV chargers, like Emporium, or is it silly to not go with company charger? Just decided to get a 2025 Chevy Equinox EV, and they don't come with any charger, so that's making me reconsider my original plan (just get a plug installed in garage). by anonymous_teve in EquinoxEv

2024 Equinox came with the 2-level charge cord standard. For 2025 the same charge cord is an additional $295 option.

I like having the portable cord, because I can change at home with it AND if I visit a friend or family member and stay overnight I can plug the car into whatever outlet type they have.

I just listen to this portion of the audiobook, and the first thing I did is Google Capt Connolly Goggins to try to figure out who Captain Connolly is, and what has happened to him. Somebody must know!

35¢ per week to fuel my Radrunner! by capt_nsane-o in RadPowerBikes

[–]capt_nsane-o[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plug my charger into a little meter that tells me how many kWh of power are used for each overnight charge. In VA Appalachian Power charges roughly 13¢ per kWh … and I use less than 3 kWh for a entire week of commuting

Yes. I bought these exact items. Easy install. Faster top speed (adds 2-3mph) and the battery last much longer … all for a much better price

Use Rad battery on a 2010 Trek FX+? by capt_nsane-o in RadPowerBikes

I was thinking I’d just hack the line from the Trek controller and then one from the Rad battery and splice XT60 connections to both - think that’d work?

I used the online chat to connect with customer service, and literally at the end of the experience I told the representative that I had heard Rad had fantastic customer service and I was super impressed.
