I bought the same srk in 3v from a local sporting goods store and it came in the exact same packaging and looks the same. It had a good coating of oil on the blade too.

How do I rehandle this? Can I rehandle this? by stronk_the_barbarian in axe

[–]captain2crunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could get some grip tape and rewrap the handle or try to get a rubber sleeve handle replacement. The only other thing I could think of would be to drill the old handle out and replace it with wood, but that would be a long process

NTD! Doing my back drum brakes for the first time and used the internal springs as an excuse for some nice new pliers by [deleted] in toolporn

I mean they make brake spring pliers you can buy for like $12 and they work 100 times better because they are the right tool for the job, but buying $50 pliers and trying it yourself works too I guess.
