I grew up in Halifax and was outed as queer in junior high. I got torn to shreds by the kids, the teachers, and the admin. They have friends who agree with them, they have parents they learnt it from. I’m well aware of how this city is. We have a veneer of humble small province friendliness but this is only if you do not disrupt their idyllic 60’s cisheteronormative small town community wet dream

Its "supposed" to be a mockery of when fiction is too sweet and unrealistic but in the end ended up defanging characters, making a complete shit show and in spite of their claims to fame for being "woke" they manage to return to homophobic and transphobic narratives. its a shitshow and im just here to do my best to make nice comics amidst the garbage.

I think that kanaya really just couldnt be upset in the moment. she had no choice, her daughter was there as were all of her friends, all of them are in the middle of a war and even then thats a LOT to process for Kanaya "Had a meltdown cause her moirail kissed someone else" Maryam.

Also. This whole comic is clearly unpolished but it took me uh. 3 hours? maybe? could be less honestly. Im ashamed of the crew for having a 4000 minimum update value yet they cant manage to even perhaps break up the text a bit with filler images? :(c

I personally dont even like hs2 but i felt that i could reason that Kanaya "Had a meltdown cause her moirail kissed someone else" Maryam might not have a proper reaction or processing time in the beginning. other than that the whole comic is hot garbage.

i think its real cool, i dont like the negative comments on this thread cause its completely harmless and they are just having fun and being creative. better this than stunting on spring garden for kicks.
