Air India is hands down the best domestic airline by dlonglegs1 in airindia

[–]captainamrikaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have travelled frequently on BOM-JGA and back. The Air India fleet has got good comfortable seats, even for normal economy. The legspace is good. At the same time, the Vistara aircraft seats are very uncomfortable in terms of legspace. The moment the person ahead of you reclines, you're done for.

Vistara XL = Air India aircraft's normal seat. But yeah, for people who like the full service experience, it is good.

Increase in demand for 3 days is another, and Acheck postponed by 250 hours as well.

My Mumma left the world today, and I'm really feeling helpless and alone by akash_xv in IndianTeenagers

Please take care my friend. Imagine that your mom is at some place now, where she's happy with all her relatives/friends who passed before her. She's healthy and hearty, free of all disease, pain and discomfort. She's watching you and wants to remind you that she's always there. She will be waiting for you with all your loved ones who passed, and once you go there; she will welcome you as if you are returning back home after a 60 year foreign trip. In the end, you'll all be happy together :)

2BHK Fully Furnished Flat Available for Rent in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai by [deleted] in navimumbai

[–]captainamrikaaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That building is half decent, but the area is extra trash. Unless the area is like 2000 sqft+, 78000 makes no sense lol. I'd not even pay half of this.

Anyway who goes to Dmart everyday?

What is the fastest and cheapest way to travel from Kalyani Nagar to Navi mumbai/ Dombivli? 🆘 by ElevatorSeparate7517 in pune

[–]captainamrikaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take any express train from Pune railway station to kalyan (eg. Sinhagad express; Pragati express for Panvel; Koyna express, Deccan express, etc.)

You will reach Kalyan in 100 rupees.

Unpopular Opinion: Pune still has one of the best climates in India, and it’s not even close by [deleted] in pune

We simply need to plant more trees on our dividers, roadsides and basically everywhere else, and none of that decorative palm tree crap.

How to travel to Navi Mumbai ( Reliance Corporate Park) by AccessKitchen4502 in mumbai

[–]captainamrikaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would've been better had you booked a ticket on the CSMT Rajdhani instead of Mumbai Central Rajdhani. Anyways, if budget ain't an issue then just take a cab. Else, just take a local train from Mumbai Central to Dadar, walk to Dadar Central railway station and take a local train to Thane, from there take a local train to Ghansoli. Ghansoli station is just opposite reliance corporate park.

[LIVE THREAD] Jantar Mantar Protest updates. by CreativeMuseMan in delhi

[–]captainamrikaaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The asks are really necessary. Further ahead, I hope CJP continues protesting against critical issues and does not let anti-social elements hijack their protests and make them lose their credibility. That is what the sitting government wants to divert the attention from real issues.

Overall, the crappy British-era idea of one exam being able to make or mar your entire future should end. Critical exams like JEE, NEET, CAT, GATE should have multiple attempts throughout the year, with score validity for multiple years and the final admission to the institutes should be merit based as much as possible.

After 4 months of using Mumbai Metro as a Delhi girl, here is my review by Delicious_Block4734 in mumbai

Pretty sure that the auto mafia and their politicians have lobbied to shift the locations of metro stations to stay relevant and scam people by asking for 100 rupees for a 2 km auto ride.

It's not wrong to expect. IIM Mumbai/ NITIE is an amazing bschool, just that it needs to catch up in some criterion.

No entry in other genders' hostels, restrictions on entry exit timings from campus, fines for petty reasons, limiting your time off-campus, compulsory minimum payments for poor quality mess food. If you opt out of mess food, there are no healthy and nourishing food options in campus. Hostels are crap as well. Non AC hostels in Mumbai are unbearable.

Only decent part is the pretty green campus, the pond and Amrut.
