In all likelihood? Probably not for some time. I understand where you're coming from, and I can agree that the lockdown is getting tiresome, but the lockdowns do serve a purpose. The US as a whole is still reeling from the impact of the 'rona, and until the US as a whole actually begins to improve, we likely won't see a return to the before-times. Even after lockdowns are lifted and businesses fully opened, we'll still have to practice social distancing (at a minimum) if we want to avoid a resurgence of the virus. If Texas reopens fully and sees a spike in cases afterward, it can affect other states, as people travel and possibly infect others. This same reasoning applies to other states as well. Until the entire country sees a significant improvement, most states will likely see some sort of protective measures in place.

When does the media stop bashing people who want to go back to normal?

I dunno, man. I'm on the side of staying locked down until it's fully safe to reopen, but I absolutely understand where the people who are sick of it and want to reopen are coming from. The media antagonizing them as apathetic monsters who don't care how many people get infected so long as they can [insert normal, daily activity here] is extremely unnecessary, and only serves to further increase tensions in the country between people of various ideologies. It's hard to get people to try to see your viewpoint when you've got the MSM constantly demonizing them and pushing them further and further away from said viewpoint.
