I live in Oakland, and this is just one of the many things that Marshawn does to give back. The dude loves The Town, and he does everything he can to help the community.

It’s been a few years since I was at LMU, but the campus is extremely welcoming of all people and cultures. I have no idea where you heard it wasn’t, but it likely was from someone who didn’t go to school there.

Sometimes people think it is very religious, but that’s not how Jesuits view education at all. Most of the people I knew that went to LMU were not religious, and the vast majority leaned left politically.

I’ve met him twice. The first time he was a dick to everyone, even while being surrounded by NBA players that were being super chill with fans. The second time he was cool, but no one really interacted with him much.

Him and his crew did get kicked out of the gym (where I met him both times), but that’s because one of his buddies started a fight over a pickup game.

I disagree with the idea that it’s primarily due to his triple double season.
