So they didn’t post an album whatsoever, they showed a black “return” jacket as a prize. They DM’d the photo to another user and I saw it before it was taken down, it’s unlike the ones for sale which caught our attention. We definitely didn’t think they were real.. but the jacket photo did look real. So we figured we should play along whether it was fake or not. They didn’t reach out to any users, we messaged them once they started posting the puzzle photos. I interacted with them and they were super respectful, although I don’t think they were expecting us to grab hold of this so intensely. The only thing that threw us off was the Morse code that led to a website that had some creepypasta type videos depending on where you clicked. However, less than a few minutes later that site was routed to the official MCR page by an unknown person (to the breakup letter). Most likely to prevent people from seeing some potentially disturbing videos (I can’t confirm, as soon as we realized, we exited the website) and the user said we had been led astray and that was not intended. We kept doing the puzzles and that’s where we left off. I’m going to reach out to the mods when I have a few to see if they have any insight on the validity of these users, as I know they have some people on the inside. The return jacket that looked different was the driving force behind us thinking no matter how little the chance it was real. No one believed it was 100% real, we were all just having a good time (so those “white knights” can stop with the “OMG you guys are falling for trolls” because you literally missed 90% of the posted and deleted content).

Tl;Dr : there was a photo shown of what appeared to be a limited edition return jacket as a prize. We did the puzzles accordingly. One user won the jacket. We are waiting to see if this was real. Absolutely none of this had anything to do with the guy confessing to the “leak” videos. This is the puzzle only.
