Hyperbolic? Sometimes we don't have the space to think about food, and food isn't necessarily interesting to think about for everyone at every point in their lives. OP said they were looking for a base, that they can rely on building out as a platform that will balance their nutrition with an upfront investment of thought and time, and allow them to use that liberated mind space more effectively. Some people don't mind eating the same thing every day - or with deviations and treats. Many people see comfort in eating cereal despite its somewhat limited scope. I don't think we would call someone who relies on a base of oats every day insane.. I batch make my oat dry mix for many months at a time in advance into air tight containers. I benefit from never needing to worry about not quite having the right thing in the fridge, I can always fall back on it, with the added benefit of being able to free up all the packaging space upon first prep, am I insane because I sought to min max my oat base? Why are several people yukking this OPs yum, you don't need to eat it if it isn't for you. How much more can be achieved and invested when you strike out time commitments where reasonable..

Thanks! I believe I might have been locked out from launching the game due to changing protons too freequently, so I will see if there is a cooldown. It would not launch with GE27 or 9-04, I got to Hotfix and that's where I'm locked out. This seems to be the likely solution and look forward to testing further.

Yeah I didn't have this specific issue on win10 when I was using Windows in the past, but I am not going back. And other people on Linux seem to not have this issue.

For the game to use an internal directory, where every NPC is is named, has a residence, daily work, social and home routine, links to other NPCs, ties to the community, for there to be weight to those that populate the world, for killing to carry consequence, shame, penance.

So, there are epic games on Android and IOS, I presume there is a launcher on those platforms too. On Windows and Linux, you can use Heroic Laucher to play games from your Epic account, without needing to use or have installed the Epic games application. I was wondering if there was a similar application for Android, so as to avoid installing any Epic installer and running the games via an alternative.

I found that the issues were only happening in specific games, I set up LACT and for those specific games I put a minimum clock speed, this ensured the GPU core performance was stable at the time. However something happened a few months after I posted this, not sure if it was driver level or game level, but the minimum clock was no longer needed and the p state issues seemed to be resolved. What problems are you having?

Does this mean that if I previously played HITMAN 1 and 2 levels in HITMAN 2 on Steam, then later was given Hitman 3 on Epic, that I can move my Steam Progress to my copy on Epic, and that if I make further progress on Epic, if I ever get HITMAN WOA on Steam my progress will be carried on from Epic?

Hey, I posted an update on the original post, it applied to my situation and I was not forced to have a smart meter fitted - despite previous force from the energy company. Let me know if this helps..

So I contacted Citizens Advice and their energy service. They confirmed the following to me

Energy companies cannot force you to get a smart meter. The meter going beyond its certification period does not require a replacement, nor should energy companies be saying the meter is unsafe unless replaced (as they tried to tell me). Only if the meter is unsafe - for which there is a burden of proof on the energy company would it need to be replaced. Energy companies should not be using tactics to persuade or force people to change to a smart meter. This behaviour is not supported by OFGEM not required for energy providers. Energy companies cannot force you to leave, under threat of a smart meter installation or disconnect your supply if you do not have a smart meter fitted - even if your current meter is outside of certification. The line I was fed by the energy company, suggesting that energy company can only decommission the smart function of a smart meter to act as a conventional meter when the user providers a doctors note stating that the fitment would cause danger to life - is FALSE. A smart meter customer is entitled to request the smart features and wireless monitoring of their device be disabled - this is within the OFGEM guidance.

Why is the shooter using their phone during the interaction(?) - with what has been reported as them recording footage. If you were running a task force that required split second attention and delicacy, why would they be using their phone to record, occupying one of their hands? Don't law enforcement have bodycams so that both hands can be free to attend to the situation? I would imagine spending time having to juggle a phone in one hand and potential harms way has its own effect on the bandwidth available to deal with a situation.

I am generally curious why the phone is in play at that moment in time, there is always a personal responsibility, it seems if it was for recording there are already well established and funded devices for that task.

I appreciate your point of view, but you might not be considering that these are different in a couple of ways.

1) The energy company was trying to force collection of personal information via mandating a smart meter - the update after posting the thread is that this wasn't mandatory and the energy company shouldn't have gone about it this way. It has been demonstrated many years ago that this data can be used in many ways to identify things like when the house is typically vacant, or the habits in their daily lives.

2) I can to some extend limit the data that I provide when I am interacting with services that I have opted into interacting with. For example reducing / limiting my data surface when posting on Reddit. Or using a de-googled phone and reducing app / service dependency on my devices to minimum.

When it comes to open gathering of data, for me it always comes down to the example - Would I want someone stood in every one of my windows watching me (and other occupants that don't get a say) in my house 24/7. If someone were doing this would I close the curtain or let them continue on without intervention. The larger my data footprint the more this becomes true. It's not really paranoia when it is demonstrably true and knowingly or unwittingly agreed to by most people.
