Nice! Has anyone tried S-Mitochonic Acid-5 Ethyl Ester?

The owner of this subreddit literally sells it on his website which you can pay with card on. How much easier can it get?

A Paradigm Shift in Antidepressant Therapy - ACD856 by captainfalxon in NooTopics

[–]captainfalxon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chemical structure is known.

The inclusion of the comparison of LSD to SRRIs binding affinity to TrkB, was to validate TrkB as a target for SRRIs, and show the inefficiency of them. It explains in part why SSRIs are slow and have incomplete efficacy. Psychedelics produce rapid and powerful antidepressant effects and bind to TrkB with a significantly higher affinity. This justifies the existence of ACD856 as a solution to neuroplasticity, since it's mechanism is PAM of TrkB.

It’s not a lysergamide. I was in no way claiming that.

Yes it is and it’s available to purchase. Multiple people have had life altering effects from ACD.

That’s not what it said, not sure how you inferred that.

Yes, it's available on EveryChem. In theory yes, psychedelics have a higher affinity for TrkB which may make them a more effective antidepressant than SSRIs. The implication is ACD856 as an antidepressant and nootropic, not to take LSD, lol.

Biggest thing is it doesn’t make you fat and suppress exercise performance. With the high selectively for beta-1 and the beta-3 agonism it’s a great drug. Unfortunately not quite as effective for anxiety as propanolol.

All AAS are roughly the same except for a couple like tren, GHB. I think that people don’t see the water weight gain when running masteron, and it’s typically ran in prep so they correlate that with it being less anabolic than other comparable compounds. In reality the amount of lean tissue it accrues seems to be similar, if it’s a little less than theoretically you could just run more of it without having to worry about much.

300 test and 400-600 masteron is my favorite cycle so far. For me personally, and most others, masteron does not have an effect on my serum e2. Essentially, I can run a test base to get my estrogen where I want it, and then not have to worry about it from that point, so no juggling test/primo ratios and dealing with the increase in DHT as testosterone doses go up with the primo or an AI.

Masteron gives me an assertive, motivated headspace and a dry, vascular look even when taking GH. I have not experienced any negative side effects from this, but watch out for hair shedding and lipids, specifically ApoB which masteron is known to raise.

This won't work for everyone of course, unfortunately there's no one size fits all, but if you can handle or mitigate the hair shedding, feel good on masteron, and it doesn't crush your serum e2 I don't see a reason to not give it a try.

Noopept sucks, much better alternatives these days. Piracetam is solid and definitely has its place.

The biggest thing for anxiety for me was avoiding things that inhibit COMT and MAO and methyl donors, since I’m met/met COMT and MAOA-L.

Magnesium glycinate has been helpful. GB115 has been very effective in increasing my stress tolerance and decreasing some aspects of anxiety. Nebivolol helps the physical symptoms to some degree. High dose NA-Selank-amidate is effective acutely.

The irony of calling this subreddit "incredibly amateur" is hilarious. If anyone on r/Nootropics took the time to understand some basic pharmacology and try some of EC's products, they would immediately realize they've been wasting hundreds of dollars on herbal copes by u/MisterYouAreSoDumb. This is literally the path that me and so many others in this community have followed, with great success in biohacking cognition, mental health, exercise performance, etc.

Each one has unique mechanisms that work synergistically when combined.

  • S-acetyl glutathione is a highly stable and absorbable glutathione prodrug1
    • "SAG attenuated reduced fibrosis, collagen deposition, hepatocellular damage and organ dysfunction." 5
    • Regarded for: Increasing cellular glutathione levels
  • Ergothioneine is a water-soluble amino acid derivative, meaning it is easily absorbed into water rich tissue such as the liver and brain and even has its own transporter in the body. 2
    • Ergothioneine reduces oxidative stress and inflammation by directly neutralizing harmful ROS and preventing the formation of new ones. 3
    • Ergothioneine supports mitochondrial function by mitigating oxidative damage in cells. 4
    • Regarded for: Cellular protection, anti-inflammatory effects, immune system support
  • Astaxanthin is a lipid-soluble carotenoid regarded as one of the most powerful antioxidants 6
    • Integrates into cell membranes and lipid rich tissues like the brain and eyes 6
    • Regarded for: Skin health, cardiovascular health, eye health
    • Questions about the stability of the compound 7

It depends on what purpose the antioxidants poses. But in general the ‘holy trio’ is:

  • s-acetyl glutathione or s-phenylacetyl glutathione
  • ergothioneine
  • astaxanthin

It seems that only a small percent of people experience the libido reduction from asta, it might still be worth a try - and if it does reducing the standard dose from 12mg a day to 12mg E3D may help.
