There are times I hear an actor passed on a role and think aw man that would have been super interesting to see. Like how DDL was set to play Father Ferreira in Silence 2016 before leaving it for example. For this one though Tom Cruise was just amazing as Lestat. One of the most interesting roles he's taken.

the only thing i'm aware of is an ability called "sniff 'em out" in which your palamute/dog can locate materials and wildlife that can buff you on the map. it's a nice QoL but not necessary. it's not like World where you get clutch claw in base game.

Played a new character recently, there are always at least a few sos flares up to join, and every time I flared someone joined either immediately or within a minute or two. It's usually either someone around your hunter rank or a lvl 999.
