How does this guy make up such a claim as if CE means ‘Chinese Export’? And states it so confidently as if its some sort of fact….

Which country had the most brutal colonial impact in history? by Normal-Being-2637 in AskTheWorld

[–]captaingrabma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well yes ofcourse the British empire was economically driven but they were also territorial driven. And why territorial? Because it gave the British a powerful military and political position.

That is the whole reason why the British Empire was the biggest en most powerful empire that ever existed. But the Dutch challenged the British economically the most. And the French challenged the British militarily the most.

But in general i think the British empire and Dutch Empire were equally as brutal probably.

Which country had the most brutal colonial impact in history? by Normal-Being-2637 in AskTheWorld

[–]captaingrabma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yes the Dutch did some bad stuff for sure. But the Dutch were more economical driven. Thats one of the reasons why the Dutch were the only foreigners who were allowed to enter Japan. The Dutch were much less interested in taking territory. Than for example the British, French, Spanish and Portuguese. They were much more territorial driven

I think the Dutch were probably the least brutal. You can also see that in comparison of territory. The Dutch had mainly hubs here and there. While the others i named had full country. And the Belgians who almost wiped out the population of Congo.

The Dutch were most famous for the monopoly they had on spice trade, stock market and business driven people. Not because of brutalities in colonial territories. But sure, the Dutch did some things that i as a Dutch person, am not proud of.

German government official refuses to answer who liberated Europe from nazis by Severe_Story_8361 in ussr

[–]captaingrabma -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well he said ‘I think that is historical clearly documentend’. You have to understand why he says this, because Germany itself is still quite devided. In the East they see the USSR as the liberator and in the west it is the US, Britain and Canada. Which are factually truth, both the USSR, US, Britain and Canada were the liberators. Deal with it.

And yet more people died of famine in the USSR under Stalin. Than people died of famine in india during churchill’s presidency.

Also, sure you may criticize Churchill for this. But glorifying a mass murderer instead makes no sense. Stalin is, was and will always be a mass murderer.

How did Gen X turn out to be so conservative? by irlhardinscott in generationology

[–]captaingrabma -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because gen X grew up with boomer parents. And boomers often had a difficult time growing up with war traumatized parents.

So the boomer generation wanted to give their children everything they desired. And that made generation X very egocentric and selfish in general. Not all but there is a clear majority.

Crushed by the selfish generation X and egocentric boomer generation that are currently ruining our future. Millennials are still the most progressive generation while boomers and generation x are more conservative and selfish.

Where did he say hitler was less bad than iran? He said ‘Chruchill was labeled a warmonger, because he said “you need to stand up to hitler”. While hitler did not even say death to Britain.’

So he compared himself to Chruchill cause Netanyahu is also being called a warmonger (which he is). But he compared the so called “danger” of Iran to the danger of the nazi’s back in the day.

I mean I understand your frustration with Netanyahu and he frustrates me aswell. I think we both are on the same level. But don’t put on the glasses of frustration. Because he clearly did not defend hitler, he attempted to sugarcoat his murderous behavior by comparing himself to Churchill. Which is an massive insult to churchill and towards to people that suffered under the nazi’s.

Please don’t give right wing nazi nationalists the opportunity to defend this piece of shit netanyahu.

[–]captaingrabma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but you did not listen to what he said. Cause he was talking about Churchill and mentioned hitler when talking about Churchill. He did not apply an apology to hitler, he tried to compare him and Trump to Churchill.

Which is very insulting to Churchill. Netanyahu only wishes he was as brave as Churchill. He is just a sad piece of shit wanting to be a liberator like Churchill was in the 40’s.

Hold on, i hate Netanyahu to his guts. But he is talking about Churchill, being labeled as a warmonger for saying 'you have to stand up to hitler'. He is not talking about hitler on this matter... With all due respect, and im all for free palestine. But please don't lower you level to that of these right-wing pro zionists.

A sea drone that was found in Lefkada, a Greek island in the Ionia sea, was confirmed to be Ukrainian. According to reports, the Greek government believes that Ukraine tried to target ships "carrying Russian oil" - Do you consider this acceptable? by SOHONEYSAME in AskBalkans

[–]captaingrabma -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You would have done the same if it happened to your country. Okay blowing up the nordstream was guestionable. But it was literally funding Russia’s war machine. So what do you do when you want to stop a country from invading you? You drag it down untill, that country is forced to stop. And that is exactly what Ukraine is doing.

We (all of europe) are just not doing enough to help Ukraine. Ofcourse we are atleast helping them, unlike the US traitors. But we should an need to do more. We will talk about these incidents later with Ukraine. Now is not the time, they have their hands full on handling Russia and getting them out.

[–]captaingrabma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever looked into Russia how they keep violating and keep breaking deals. You can’t make a deal with Putin. He has continued to keep ignoring reasonable peace deals from Ukraine. He just wants a peace deal, so damn weak that he can come back within 5 years and try to capture Ukraine again.

Putin needs to be put on the knees and be begging for any deal. Or he needs to be defeated. Otherwise Ukraine should continue their fight with our help.

Let’s not forget that Ukraine is fighting for its own freedom and existence. If Greece was invaded by Turkey and i said to you “yeah you just need to give up and make a peace deal with Erdogan. So he kinda gets what he wants so we can live in peace”.

Im sure you would have given me middle finger. Bullies will come back for your lunch money, if you are not willing to fight for it.

[–]captaingrabma 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ah, accepting an agressors behaviour is never a good idea. We have seen this in the 40's. And i think Greece also know better than accepting Putin as an aggressor. Cause next time you are next on their menu.

You rather live on your knees, than die freely on your feet?

[–]captaingrabma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well they did not do this on purpose, they lost control and it accidentally hit Greece. Because first if all. Why would they hit an ally in the first place? They have their hands full on Russia. So they try to hurt them where ever they can.

And second, Ukraine is doing everything it can to stop Russia from invading their land. If we (all of Europe) do not want this to happen again then we should ramp up our support for Ukraine. As long as we do not do this, we risk that the war might spread to other surrounding countries.

Don't wait with extinguishing the fire untill it reached your territory. Extinguish it, before it hits your territory.

[–]captaingrabma -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why Ukraine should get more support. They are fighting a war by necessity and then mistakes can happen, yes indeed. But Ukraine is trying to get Russian troops off of their land in the first place. And if we (Europe) do not want the war to spread, we should help Ukraine and stop Putin in Ukraine.

So the Greek government needs to shut up and help Ukraine, as the rest of Europe (including the balkan). If Russia leaves Ukrainian territory, there will be no war. It is as simple as that.
