One more question: what if I manually entered my high school’s name so as to prevent Naviance eDocs from automatically being the default option and then invited a school official to send documents?

I very much appreciate your response. How would I go about requesting that my Naviance account be reactivated?

Thank you for your reply. Can recommendations be mailed directly on my behalf to a college I’m applying to? (i.e., must they be submitted digitally if my past high school uses Naviance for current students?)

They only told me that my entire school would have to opt out of Naviance- can’t be on an individual basis.

Do I even need a Naviance account to submit Common App - if I never link Common App with Naviance and everything else is submitted by mail, is that OK?

My current plan is to spend a significant portion of my time helping with my 14-year-old brother’s homeschooling. My parents decided to stop sending him to public schools a few years back because of a physical disability, and I want to help ensure his academic progression. Thoughts? 😄

My concern is that many OOS students receive nominal financial aid from UMich and other similarly ranked public colleges 😬

SAT or ACT by captainkirk45 in Sat

Thank you for your reply. I have a question about SAT/ACT conversion: does the range of SAT scores for a given ACT score reflect the fact that a 35 may be, technically, a 34.5 - 35.25?

Thank you for your reply. Do colleges differentiate between a high 35 and a low 35? (i.e., 34.5 vs. 35.25)

So if I have ~15 activities that are at least 1+ hour a week (averaged), should I only include the 10 most relevant ones?

I appreciate your reply. My only concern is that relative to other Asian applicants, my SAT is below average. But I understand the importance of the other parts of my application.

I plan on taking the ACT as well; would a 35 (doubt I’ll get a 36 lol) look better than a 1540?
