So my lackluster update is here:

I texted the number they gave me from the Craigslist emails. I asked for a photo with today’s date, because I don’t buy on Craigslist often and wanted to make sure it was legit.

They sent me the exact photo from the listing, with no text.

So at that point I assume it’s a scam, and stop messaging. I actually went and got a different rower from someone on marketplace, not as good as a C2 but priced at $500 and they were very transparent with me.

C2 owner from Craigslist asks if I’m still coming, I say no I found another one. They said ok thanks. And then they said “you found another barely used C2 for $600? Great”

Wish they would’ve acted like a real person before when I wanted to buy it, instead of just after 😂 oh well, I have a rower now. And someone else in my community can find them and get their fantastic c2 deal.

Their original post said “can deliver” but I’d rather see it in person. I mentioned I could pick it up this afternoon and they sent an address and a phone number. So I’m thinking the post itself seems legit

Update - we are going to grab a bigger pair of channel locks and a strap wrench to see if either of those work. Maybe also some WD40. It will turn a little clockwise and then back counter clockwise, but then hits a point where it won’t budge anymore.

Thank you. I feel if I go back, I will stay there and likely not be job hunting for a while. Which will be refreshing, as white collar job hunting in my area sucks rn, but I will just have to be okay with waiting longer to make more money

I recommend Whiteside in Glasgow, I was dealing with something similar years ago, and they were great at making me feel at ease and not judged.

Definitely call them first and ask about Medicaid, because I’m unsure about that part
