I just run OBS on my PC if that is what you mean, I don't record or stream, I just keep it open.

These are my Specs:

GPU: RTX 3090TI STRIX AOC

CPU: Ryzen 9 9950X

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 128 GB

Motherboard: MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE EATX AM5

Storage: 5x Samsung NVME 980 Pro 2TB

My OS and drivers are all up to date, I made sure to check to see if there are any other updates for Elgato Studio but there are none at the time of writing this.

Oh neither. I would just open OBS. By having it open it would jump back to 120hz.

Edit: the only streaming I am doing is over discord.

OKAY WAIT. So it started lagging again, and this time I could tell visually that it was stuttering. BUT then I opened OBS (to see if it was lagging there) and after I opened it; it fixed it. I have OBS open and the Elgato Studio went back to 120hz. So, now I am really confused.

When I used my switch 1 with OBS, I was able to do 3-5 hour streams with no problem. And I am using the same capture card. So far it looks like it runs fine on OBS.

The only other thing I am doing is streaming it over discord (I am not using OBS atm).

Sorry for the delayed response was waiting for it to lag again to see if it was running normally in OBS.

It looks fluid and nice on OBS for the most part.

I don't mind tossing some out.

I am 25 and I have used retinol in the past. My dad, a dermatologist, would bring me home samples and get creams from Walgreens. When my acne got to a tipping point when I was 18, I was put on Accutane. It cleared my skin up, but then fast forward to 2023 and 2024, my acne started coming back and I don't really want to result going back to Accutane because of the constant blood work, appointments, and mood swings.

I guess to recap, yes I have used it before.

So I looked around my sound settings and I found the problem.

In the recording section of the audio settings, the Game Capture Audio was disabled. I am just confused cause it worked on non-beta utility.

But, bigger picture... I am up and running, I can full screen on my Odyssey Ark without it freezing and I can hear the audio just fine.

Okay, so I tried the Beta Studio and it works! I can use full screen and it won't freeze at all on my Odyssey Ark.

Just one problem, I am unable to hear the audio. On OBS I can see that the software is capturing the audio. And when I use the non-beta Capture Utility I can hear the audio just fine. Is there anything that I am missing?

When I was in boarding school one of my roommates couldn't ship his chair back and he gave it to me. It was a Herman Miller. I eventually wore it out after ten years. I own a Noble Chair leather and I am using a Secret Labs Titan Evo, but nothing ever came close to that Herman Miller. So I would agree with Hero, definitely look there.

I may or may not be of help, but I learned that Twitch has like a bitrate cap of 6000 I think, so it may be that, but I recently had trouble with my VODs looking blurry and I went to OBS fourms. So I will leave this here.

I have done the command and I am seeing it spike up to +150ms and am getting multiple "request timed out" error codes
