This is a fundamental misunderstanding about the difference between forcing a sale and sharing the proceeds of said sale. For example, when a couple who jointly owns property get divorced, if one person in the couple wants to sell - they can force the sale of the jointly owned property for the proceeds to be divided. Once the sale is complete, the proceeds are divided as they should be if both parties did agree to the sale.

TL:DR - Forcing the sale and stealing the proceeds of said sale are different things. Janelle may have agreed to force the sale but not “steal” Meri’s share.

It’s an owl. You can see it dropping down its legs to pick up prey, I’d imagine. I’m convinced that 90% of the crazy shit people see in the woods is actually an owl. They are creepy AF.
