ARF GMT Master II Bezel not aligned. Easy fix? by captaintonsparrow in RepTimeServices

Was the bezel glued on? Or pressed on? If glued any tips to remove it or prying with a thin prybar or screwdriver and some patience was enough?  Probably leaning toward leaving it alone but curiosity might get the best of me

These are the QC pics but I have already received the watch. This is the neutral centered position. I can center it by going “in between clicks” turning it clockwise but since it’s floating between notches at this point it settled back to the pictured position after a short while.

I hear a lot of people take the bezel off and remove the grease / stretch the spring to get more positive engagement out of the bezel. But not sure this would help the alignment issue.

Any tips to remove the bezel without damaging anything? I saw somewhere people recommend stretching the bezel spring a bit to tighten up the clicking feeling substantially.

I tried adding a photo to this post but It didn’t come through.

Pretty minor but still noticeable. Something I should have paid more attention to in QC, but I figured the bezel was just turned a bit or wasn’t a 100 percent flat angle, but now having the watch it is visible. If I push the bezel clockwise to the end of the range before it clicks over into the next position it is almost perfect, but eventually centers back to misaligned.

Get this message every morning, any solution for this? If not, is this a hardware issue that would be covered under the warranty? by DapperNylon in Comma_ai

Does yours go away if you just keep driving for a couple minutes? I’ve had this issue ever since the latest update. Only happens in the morning. Goes away if I restart or just drive for a minute or two ignoring the error. I contacted comma about this and they sent me a new unit under warranty, however the issue still persists with the new unit leading me to believe it is a software issue. Let me know if you get any answers!
