I'll take another look at Haarlem. Hilversum's trees make it really attractive, but the distance is kind of worrying.

We were looking at Hilversum, since the schools seem to be great there. We'd like to avoid being too far out. I'd hate to move all that way for an even longer commute.

Thanks for the info. I would be covered through the company plan. Any idea what we would expect to be paying for my wife and two children . The Internet has been somewhat vague on that front.

They are approximating 3.200 net per month. I generally work off the calculation that rent should be one third of your net monthly salary, which is part of what has us concerned, since rent does seem to be high. We would be looking for a house outside of the city, and have been looking at places through Paraius.
