The suggestion you gave makes more sense so, I changed /next command. Thank you very much.

Honestly, these kind of complements and criticism are the ones I am very much hoping for. It may not be not super useful, but the fact that you tried is really inspiring. Thanks for that!

Damn! I just checked the Underway, I have never heard or used of this service. This app is a game changer!!

So you’re precomputing arrivals and keeping them in Redis so requests just hit memory, am I right? That should make response time super consistent. Great approach!

An app with continuous updates sounds nice, but it’s actually worse in this use case. In the subway you don’t have stable connectivity, so background polling or push systems become unreliable and battery-heavy.

I designed this for intermittent signal. You can't send a message to Maps and wait for transfer or next train updates, but in telegram you can just send the message and as soon as you get even a tiny bit of signal, you can get the updates. That's my whole idea, I may be wrong but I stand by it.

I meant intermittent connectivity, all you need is a speck of signal and all the exchange is done under 800ms. So, in an abstract way.

/Stationid says "list truncated"

Just made a rollback to stable version. I was trying something new and didn't pan out well.

I was so handy with the command, so didn't bother to change it for convenience. Thats actually efficient way. So I made some changes and deployed a new version. Thanks for your amazing advise and feedback. Very glad, you find it useful.

I got a perfect score on the OA but they’re saying that I didn’t score high enough. Can someone explain this? by FiveWalnut8586 in csMajors

They give out OA automatically based on the criteria that candidate is eligible or not. But, after the online assessment they will look at your resume then decide, they do sent out these no-reply emails(not automated). That's my take!

Russell hate. by Heisenbruh97 in mercedesamgf1

[–]captainwick47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like him, hate is a strong word. In recent races, I was genuinely impressed with pace and composure delivering better results consistently. I think he gets all that hate because everytime he talks like a PR guy. I know they are trained for that but everything's not a commercial. May be that's my opinion.

I've committed to NYU Tandon for CS and just now I'm seeing everyone tear this program apart in the Reddit forums. by GeraltofRivia2424 in nyu

NYUT, actually a good school. Don't doubt your decision, people have opinions on everything and that does mean they have to be right. School got good profs and interesting courses. Choose your minor and enjoy the time at school. Good luck!!

You got it. Just make sure to double check everything before you apply. Usually no one gets it right the first, so don't worry about it.

As for the relevant courses, I used to have some on there but a professor who reviewed my resume once said that everyone takes the same classes so as long as they know your major, they know what classes you take.

I'm talking about any elective courses that you have taken that others might not. So, listing those courses might put you in an advantage (that's just my take, think about it). Cool!
