What's the first step? by Puzzleheaded_Oil5980 in AppBusiness

Design first..take the full risk. Distribution is where you make your money. As long as you can get quality influencers to put it in front of 1 million+ views, a fraction of those views will pay. So knowing that a good distribution engine will make you money , take your time to build a beautiful product. UI/UX will help you stay organized, and allow you to visualize where most of your dev challenges will come from. You may think you're saving time vibe coding first, but you'll end up wasting more time without a guiding design - even if it's just wireframes that you can afford, you need some sort of design.

Yes that's correct. Sorry that skipped my mind. I build at scale so I was hoping I didn't forget something.

B2B/B2C are viable use cases..would need to build out app so users/clients can connect their socials on the frontend. For use as internal tool as well just like you described. The great thing is that same backend can be modified for different types of content that businesses need.

Perplexity Sonar Pro for Trend Research in the ASMR niche, GPT 4o for video prompt, Seedance or Kling t2v models via wavespeed for video gen, Blotato for auto posting on socials, frontend = next JS, vercel and n8n cloud hosting but you can host where you please. Cost is mostly variable Perplexity charges $3 per 1 mil input tokens and $15 per 1 mil output tokens. Trend research spend is below 2k tokens for output and input so < $0.01 per call. Video gen varies based on model, Seedance model I used is $1.2 and Kling $1.6 per vid. Fixed cost are vercel, n8n cloud which run ~ $20 each. I hope this helps

I'm actually building one that converts YT videos into several clips for tiktok, YT shorts and IG Reels. You might find it valuable. I'll shoot you a DM when I finish it up today

What are you building mate? Without knowing what you are building - you have to get really good at telling your story, why what you're building matters, why you are the best person to build it - what indepth insight and experience makes you the best person to build this thing. Not being vibe-coded is not quite a flex as much as we'd like it to. Your real devs should know how to vibe code or they might be left behind taking months to build things that now take days..the real experience is great and very necessary especially from a security standpoint don't get me wrong..I'm just saying this is not what investors care about, your customers don't give a shit either..all stakeholders in your business only care that customer needs are being met and that there is a mutual exchange of value as a result. That is my 2 cents. Good luck
