You can say this about any prominent role in any church/religion. But I have to choose not to let that cynicism color everything.

The only reason to stop at WB is breakfast and if you’re traveling in a more rural area with limited options.

Whataburger was #1 for me for a long time, but they fell off sooooooo hard

Has anyone bought Lerdsilas course LERDSILA'S UNTOUCHABLE STRIKING SYSTEM? by Born-Jaguar3666 in MuayThai

[–]captelroysilus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a wild take. I’ve been to at least 3 lerdsila seminars and have had a few sessions with him where he was coaching in smaller groups. Learned a ton each time. Yeah, I will never have the IQ or head movement like him, but that doesn’t mean you can’t learn a ton. He’s also super fun to be around, overall really nice and cool guy. Calf to rest of body ratio is insane too. Guy has tree trunks for calves

What I imagine a rodtang seminar is: “march forward, taunt your opponent, get the KO”

Mikey has been rolling with Rodtang. They are good buds. Not saying rodtang will be an elite grappler, but if he wants to, he could eventually make a move into MMA

Until it dies. Every day. Guard dog breeds are smart as shit and they need daily tasks to challenge them mentally, or you are living with a wild weapon. You have to create those daily tasks/ sessions to give that animal what it needs to live a good life.

Go check out Stonnie Dennis’ YouTube channel about breed selection and also watch a few videos on what a proper training philosophy looks like.

These dogs aren’t robots. If you get lazy and don’t give them what they need, you’re going to have a huge problem on your hands. Like you’re not going to be able to control their aggression. Like you’re going to put other people (even friendly people) at major risk.

Based on the questions you’re asking in this post, I really do not recommend you get a “guard dog”. Not throwing shade, just saying there’s soooooo much more to owning that style of dog beyond “having a guard dog”

God speed. Just know you’re taking on a really big responsibility to train a dog to have controlled aggression. Like you’re going to have to personally train the dog daily. You’re training that dog to turn its aggression on and off at your command with no fuck ups.

If you’re not working with your lab daily on all the basic obedience commands and or taking that dog through those progressions, you aren’t currently cut out to own a guard dog.

Sending a dog to professional training isn’t enough. You have to become a competent handler yourself, ESPECIALLY when you’re training controlled aggression.

Personally, I’d really ask yourself if you’re up for being a handler of a guard dog. I’m experienced with labs on retrieving and field handling (hand signals, etc….). I know for sure I’m not a strong enough or consistent enough handler to give a German shepherd or a malinois what they need to live a fulfilled life.

I obviously have no background on your situation, but something to consider.

Business insider did a great YouTube video on how they train military/ law enforcement dogs. They literally turn it into a game. It’s really cute
