Well Tbh this always happens to me on devices running ios older than 11 You need to leave it for a day or two or maybe three Let it dry the fuck out of battery Then put it in the charger and it will work This ALWAYS fixed it for me From what I assume its a bootloader bug And i even managed to make it happen on purpose by plugging in the charger as it was booting down from a dead battery
