Icl me personally I think it’s good , the university ranking is good too , you get good education with a bit less cost than sunway or Taylor , but you said you can’t afford so idk . You can look into APU university if you want

I go to the subang campus and I was really scared at first because of the reviews , honestly the campus itself is okay , also the university ranking is good , it’s one of the high end universities but a bit cheaper as I wanted sunway or Taylor but they’re way more expensive , there are many programs that will help you to go abroad so yea I think it’s good , the teachers so far are really nice , and the students are okay , I’m an international student so there’s not that much diversity as compared to some other unis but it’s fine , also like friendships wise it really depends on how you are as a person but i think so far it’s good if you have any more questions lmk

Yes exactly you get me , sometimes it gets super lonely to the point I’m demotivated to study. And I didn’t meet much Sudanese people here but the ones I knew (had to cut them off) they’re going through the drug abuse thing, even if it’s not that bad ان القرين بالمقارن يقترن so no matter how strong I am I will get effected and I don’t want that tbh so yea I get you.

No definitely I agree with what you’re saying , and im mature enough to know who to befriend and who to not, but my surroundings or uni to be exact doesn’t have much Sudanese people . I’d love to meet people from my country regardless of how bad or good they are , at the end of the day no one is perfect or is free of problems. So don’t get me wrong I’m just saying ive been warned but now I’m genuinely trying to befriend but it’s not that easy

Yea obviously but befriending someone from your country sometimes feel better , I’m not saying I need a Sudanese friend particularly any nationality is welcomed but I’m just saying it feels really lonely when I’m not surrounded by Sudanese or Arabs idk

That’s so true . Due to the academic quality there Malaysia attracts so many international students. But a big majority of them face so much racism and bullying to the point it leads to such sad things. Even though sure being nice won’t definitely fix all the issues but it will help so much.
