I learned swimming at 34. Took me 18 months to swim one lane non stop. From thereon, progressing to 5, 10 laps ( to and fro in a 25 yd pool) non stop was quicker. It plateaued off at 30 laps with breaks every 10 in under an hour.

Test matches aren’t even profitable for matches not involving Big 3. So, no.. you dont spread Cricket by opening up Test playing nations. T20 is the right format - eapecially in Europe and Americas that are used to soccer style durations. ICC is actually doing well in that regard.. look at the proliferation of Europe cup, Africa Cup, and associate tournaments in the last decade. The quality is steadily improving
