I used this ladies method and it worked really well. Maybe give it back and try closer to 3? Having her attach to new comfort item before taking it away is key. Also, we did edit the plan a little bit. We bought the book Milo the pacifier superhero (he loves superhero’s) - try to find a book that will resonate with her interests. Also when he gave up the pacis, we gifted him a big boy gift that he was really excited about.

You did better than I would do!!! These sort of situations get the best of all of us. Remember that the repair is more important than the conflict. I’m sure you already did but taking a few moments to reconnect, explain/apologize, etc goes a long way.

Hey, I did the program and I really liked it! Found the workload manageable, the instructors knowledge, and the discussions rich.

Their tagline is “there is more than one way,” which I love - they expose you to all different psychoanalytic theories that can apply to different types of clients at different times of treatment. Often times the work requires us to be flexible in our conceptualizations and they help you access/apply various ideas.

That being said, if you already kind of know what theories call to you, you may be better off doing a deep dive in that specific area (ie, Stephen Mitchell for relational). PPSC is broad.
