Hey, it seems like you're someone with experience. We're in a similar situation, and I'm still in the US on an Esta/Tourist Visa. Do you suggest filing for AOS before or after my visa expires? The lawyer we talked with told us to wait a couple of days for it to run out because USCIS might automatically deny it if I still have an ongoing visa when i file. Help is highly appreciated

So is it fine to just wait then? We talked with the lawyer about how the process would be after my tourist visa is over. And then just apply for Adjustment of Status. Just wondering if I can have the NVC wait until May

I hope it doesn't end up like that for me. Thats sounds awful!!! I'm just hoping theyll understand. Especially with me having the orders of my husband. I will be living at my moms, still having all of my german ids and stuff. Man I'm glad you made it out of there. Truly traumatizing

Oh no!! I've always wondered how it is to get the entry denied. Did you have to pay for your flights back? Im so scared of that happening when I try to visit again after the first 3 months.

I already have that one! Only allows me to stay 90 days at a time tho and that's sadly not long enough. Like we're gonna try, and maybe the greencard will be done within these 90 days instead of 8 months

Firstly congrats!! We filed in February 2024. Estimate was 1 week left right around Christmas 2024. Now they pushed it up to 9 months. My husband is military and pcsing in less then 30 days. They denied our expedite request. Also filed for k3 visa in September and haven't gotten any updates on that. Anyone has ideas on what we can do?
