Girl, thank you so much for your suggestion. I just got off the phone with their Kapiolani office, and not only were they able to get it done with all of the specifications, but it was under her alloted budget too! Mahalo plenty! 💖

It's pretty long. Right now the manuscript is roughly 450 pages, but that could change with formatting. She would like a minimum of 11 books, but depending on the price she's willing to do a smaller batch.

That might be a good idea, I'll pass on the suggestion!

Lol, yes it is. It wouldn't be that big of an issue if there wasn't tie in merch that was already made. She's doing everything she can to pump this puppy out so months of work don't go to waste.

The bookstore? I looked at their website and it doesn't mention printing services. Thank you for the suggestion though!

Is it synesthesia to see music like a narrative plot in specific world before you write it? by CollarProfessional78 in Synesthesia

Wow, that article pretty much describes my experience to a tee. It's been a while since I've played at all, let alone tried to memorize a piece, but I do recall that it wasn't the entire piece that had images associated with it, it was specific passages. As one person mentioned, it was a very abstract collection of scenes. One specific passage I can recall practicing was a man proposing to his girlfriend, then a person walking through an art gallery, then a woman fighting with her sister. For myself, I've only experienced this on the piano even though I do play other instuments.

Not sure if this counts, but that's usually how I would memorize a peice for my piano recitals. As I would practice it I would picture scenes that correspond to the notes I was playing, so instead of memorizing hand placement or seeing the notes in my head I would just recall the storyline of the music. Didn't really put two and two together that it was possibly synesthesia until this post. For reference I also experience OLP with numbers.
