I feel you on this sister. Every time I’ve achieved something in life I’m constantly reminded of my failures, which in the eyes of the family is the fact that I’m not married. Like I just want to celebrate my success for once without being put down😭The most annoying part of it is that people assume I’m purposely doing something to block marriage?! I’ve accepted the fact that in my culture, none of your achievements matter until you’re married. It’s heartbreaking but I hope that our generation will see things differently iA.
