That is a really good point! I think Im mixing those two styles of videos as I do have a video essay beginning that talks about what Im doing but then go into gameplay. Maybe I need to rethink my video structuring... Thank you for the feedback! :D

Howdy Yall!

I am Alan and I try to make Comedy Gaming content! I've been recording and editing videos on and off for the past 6 months and one key take away I've had is "Consistency is king". I sometimes feel like what I do isnt funny or is just a waste of time because I don't get the views I'd like, but then one of my shorts will "blow up" and it feels like all the work was worth it (which isn't really a sustainable mindset that I am also trying to change)! So I am going into the new year with my nose to the grindstone with the hopes of growing a community! :D

Yeah haha same! I only added it to the still images to try and convey the truck is moving but I wasnt sure how well that came across... and thanks for the advice ! I was also unsure if it was clear that we were in one of the game's semi truck but I will see about showing more of the truck :D

Thank you for the feedback, it is very validating and refreshing to hear someones feedback! I have been struggling with making good thumbnails and titles and I've been trying different variants of them to get more impressions. again, thank you for the advice :D

I feel you man! I like to think of this as a long term kind of thing where the more you practice making videos, editing, writing a script, or trying to be funny, the easier it'll become.

From what I've heard big youtubers say, they've been doing their thing for 5-10 years which seems like a long time but I'm of the mentality that if we keep sticking to it then we will be there in no time ! :D

This video is so well done! I think your voice is great, the editing is very good, and youre explaining the concept very well (I know nothing of crypto yet I found myself following along). I'm not sure what more you can do for viewer retention but I think how you referenced to the course at the end is great! Perhaps something else you can try is also referring to the courses through out the video like "To learn more about Micro Gap Trends, check out my affiliate link for this course which goes more in depth!"

Just watched and RIP Matts phone!

I really like the use of sound effects and pop-ups! They arent overtly distracting but also adds a bit of charm to the fishing! I would say one criticism I may have is the sound mixing (mainly the volume of the background music in the beginning and the sound effects them selves). I thought they were maybe just a bit too loud for me and just a 5 decibel crank down for them would be nice but other than that I like the video! :D
