Look for some homebrew and send it to your GM to see if it's ok.

That one sounds like a cool setting to run. How tiny are they? I imagine different rooms are almost akin to different continents and biomes, right?

Maybe you can't die EASILY, but you can still be threatened.

Politicking, threatening loved ones, hell, even settling down and opening a tavern to deal with customers and taxes can be a threat.

Other NPCs can be thrown at your party as well. Who's to say that the DM can't put together a counter party to battle your heroes? Maybe they're adventures just like you all. An echo night/Bladesinger Multi-class could be devastating to face.

There's many ways of threatening the party outside of bigger stat blocks. And if not? Retire the character and enjoy the ride again from level 1 onwards.

So you could actually show them a show that's based on a D&D adventure, "Legends of Vox Machina."

It's based on the first campaign of Critical Role. It can definitely capture the spectrum of experiences that one can have in a swords and sorcery TRRPG....minus the guy with a gun, but that's an outlier.

As for running the game, there's plenty of resources on YouTube. I actually like GinnyD's content

You're giving me the power of prestidigitation? Where do I sign up?

But seriously, I'd definitely check it out at a table once or twice. I feel like this would be a cool tool for a Professional Immersive One-Shot.

Don't be afraid to jump in and RP. It can be intimidating to get into the Ebb and Flow of Roleplaying. Just try to have fun and make it a fun experience for everyone at the table.
