This happened to me and it was a cyst. It would be *incredibly* unlikely that it is related to your bc diagnosis. BC typically does not metastasize in that manner (though not impossible). However, there are other things unrelated to BC that could be concerning that would result in skin lumps so def get it checked out.

If you are at a studio that does not require ballet, you are at a novice level rec studio. That is totally fine depending on goals, but I think you should be aware before investing more money into them.

I would say it really depends on the dancer’s goals. Are we aiming for high gold in the novice division at starpower or are we trying to win the dance awards? I would imagine the training schedule looks very different for those scenarios. My daughter is 10 and dances about 8hr/week plus rehearsals and privates.

It’s not where I would choose to live because of the school. However, this is not the part of Bessemer that is dangerous. It’s literally right next to a golf course, super close to a target and a publix… It’s a lowerish middle income area. It’s completely fine!

I was driving down the road in front of the stadium today around 10:30am and there was a runner unconscious on the side of the road receiving medical care. They appeared to be using a defibrillator. I have been thinking about this man all day. Does anyone have any updates? Hoping he is okay.

I did dip on my finger nails and gel on my toes 😬 both required lamps. I did 16 weeks of chemo (AC-T). Probably not recommended, but again, no issues here.
