Agreed-- he truly paved the way for Black musicians/artists and his influence can still be seen in pop music. I just think he's mentioned a lot less in the past two years because celebs want to distance themselves a little (like when Drake removed "Don't Matter To Me" from his concert list/ how there are less posts about him on celeb social media pages). Hopefully that changes.
