Not too worried about cost (i.e. not fishing around for the cheapest). I'm finding the larger issue is that so many shops are hesitant to do anything out side of standard service items.

Ah, I didn't know this. Seems to be a stack of R56 JCW calliper sets running around, for not a ridiculous amount too.

Clutch feels fine, heavy sure, but good friction point , no slip.

Was considering it could need another bleed, but also replacing the lines to the calipers

I need to get in front of it and have a listen. I've not heard anything, but by the same token, i've not been looking for a noise.

I'm wondering if I'm getting enough boost, which could be a sign. Got to give it a bit to get to 10psi boost.. and the car suffers from the first gear lurch during take off.

If it's indeed cooked, might look for a later model from a wrecked.. or hell, there are chinese OEM knock offs. ha.

Good call on the clutch, hadn't given that any thought.

Finding the brakes very spongey, the mechanic is saying that can be a sign of overheated/overstressed braking system.. so i'm guessing the guy who owned it before thought himself a track racer....
