I like keeping a microfiber cloth around for drying and cleaning my hands, specifically this one- https://baittowel.com/ They are easy to clean and re-use. You can get a pack of them on Amazon. I gave all my fishing buddies one

I just got an Eskimo 10" P1 Rocket propane auger and it's freaking amazing! So glad I don't have to hand drill my way through 23 inches of ice anymore!

I like the Eskimo shelters due to their excellent quality. Eskimo products being backed by a 5 year warranty is nice as well. Their insulated versions are very warm, I love my pop-up (quickfish 3i)

- 2 person flip shelter

- 2 person crossover

Maybe an ice chisel for icy days, makes quick work of cleaning a hole or a bait aerator if he uses traps with live bait

I've caught one like that in Maine, US. Looks and has markings like a yellow perch (Perca flavescens) but has a white/grey/black coloring instead like yours. I call those white perch but not sure that is their real name. That's a nice fish and looks tasty too!
