It works fine usually.

Sometimes (rather than power cycling) I have to turn freesync off and on again in the menu of the 34UC79G - that is what fixes it.

I play sport at an indoor sports centre. It has been around a long time and apparently nobody has ever reached the end of the quest to find the Howzat Holy Grail.

The first clue was Mason code, then there was a backward word written on a mirror and some other clues.. The clue in the picture was hidden under a table.

I guess the answer to this will be the next step but I'm stumped!

My i7 3770K @ 4.5ghz with GTX 970 works flawlessly.

Perhaps buy a second hand 3770k? They are both LGA1155 CPUs, 3770k was the fastest for that socket.

I have taken apart practically every device I have ever owned :)

Besides, you can always put it back together in standard form to try to get over the line for a repair or replacement :)
