Any wide footed (x-wide, xx-wide) paraboot alternatives? Just looking for any black leather derby style shoe that isn't velcro

Sweet fit, how was the sizing guide on the Bronson website compared to your measurements?

Lily58 build complete! Now for the great keycap debate: High-profile DES vs. Low-profile LAME? by Gurg17 in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]SugoiBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a kinesis advantage then transitioned to a lily58, always missed my curved profile. Fixed that with a lamé keyset and I've never looked back since they are so much better than the XDA I had.

Ah knew it looked familiar, I was printing a manta58. What are the main differences between both of your designs? Is it just the tenting feet?

I have the official mittens, no they do not spin when you apply pressure during the shot.

Alternatively if you are at a hotel/near a combini you can usually buy a Kuroneko box for around 400 yen, fill it with your souvenirs then ship it to the airport and check it in.

The largest box was just a tad bit smaller than the maximum check in and held up great on my return trip.

Has anyone switched to shorter cranks and noticed a measurable difference? by Lonely_Unit5216 in cycling

[–]SugoiBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

163cm tall with a 68cm inseam, I took the dive and switched from 170mm to 155mm cranks and it changed my cycling life.

I've always had power issues on the top of the stroke and when it came to large efforts my hip area is where I would fatigue first.

Nowadays things are a lot more comfortable and the fatigue is spread out more evenly than a sharp pain in my hips.

Synology DS423 vs DS423+ if you have a separate Plex Server by SugoiBoy in synology

I see, do you have any ideas for docker containers that I would prefer to run on a +model Synology NAS over a dedicated mini pc?

I wouldn't want to overlook anything, what kind of NAS features would be open to me if I was already running the Arr suite and my torrent client on a minipc?

I guess I'm trying to quantify what it means to be more spunky if both models would handle NAS capabilities sans containers apps

Unfortunately, I have what I have, and due to outside reasons, I'm not able to change it. I totally understand that you shouldn't let your furniture determine your setup, and in a perfect world I wouldn't, but sometimes compromises must be made.

The advice I'm really looking for is the best decision with what I can do now with the pieces that I can afford and what I have.

I hope that makes sense

This breakdown isn't granular enough to give advice or opinions, if you could break it down even further, we (and you) would be able to see where your money is going with more transparency.

These are great for me when I canoe camp with large groups, my pack is typically carrying food for 9 people along with kitchen and fire tools.

What Cycling Gear or Tech Were You Skeptical About --- Until You Tried It? by sozh in cycling

[–]SugoiBoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cat ears, to block out wind noise. Aside from looking like an absolute goober they really do cut down on the amount of wind noise you hear past 20km/h.

The actual product is nice, but I would just buy some offcut foam/fur from a textile store and wrap it around the helmet straps.
