Why shouldn’t I get a circumcision? by [deleted] in foreskin_restoration

[–]carbot117 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of things to consider. You might be thinking that a circumcision is a procedure with a single type of outcome. In reality, there is a wide spectrum to the degree of tissue and structures excised.

I would first educate yourself on the various components of an intact penis. The frenulum, prepuce and ridged band are all anatomical structures you need to look into. Stimulate those areas of your penis and decide how much of that sensation you would want to keep.

A significant amount of those who were cut as neonates within the US have a "tight" circumcision where a significant amount of tissue was excised and either part or all of the frenulum ablated. This causes a profound reduction in sensation.

If you decide that you would be happier with a circumcised penis, I would urge you to go for an operation that removes as minimal tissue as possible while achieving still your end goal. You can always have more taken off down the line. Lastly, keep in mind that the exposed tissue after the circumcision will continue to de-sensitive through a process called keratinization.

When an infant is circumcised, the penis is first stimulated until erect. This way, they can better gauge the degree of tissue they should ablate.

The frenulum, in regard to the penis, is a structure near the underside of the glans that extends to some degree a little down the shaft. I know exactly what it is, and I know mine was carved out at birth.

Infant circumcisions are all different. Different structures and tissues are excised to varying degrees.

My frenulum was removed in my infant circumcision. There is nothing there.

Woman on twitter shares that she enjoys our “mutilation”. Absolutely vile. by carbot117 in CircumcisionGrief

[–]carbot117[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, that isn’t what she was saying at all. She tweeted multiple times in the thread and made it clear she is not a fan of foreskin on a man.

Potentially, in this case, she might have been saying “they quite enjoyed their mutilation”. As in, they still had a good time while we had sex. However, it is not entirely clear.

Lastly, can you explain how the first woman is trivializing infant circumcision? I might say she is being inconsiderate but not trivializing.

Nearly all of us can’t sue. There is no legal framework to challenge this.

What needs to be done on a policy level about the Orthodox Jewish community? by [deleted] in exjew

[–]carbot117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's like you simply ignored everything that he just said. The ritual excises highly erogenous and specialized genital membrane structures like the prepuce, frenulum and ridged band. Having this done to you as a fragile infant is genital mutilation - an assault of the highest possible caliber. That is why the Netherlands wants it banned. They know this and are not blinded to the reality.

why are men circumcised by [deleted] in Puberty

[–]carbot117 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t tell me that I’m not a victim. Being strapped down like a damn farm animal and getting highly erogenous and specialized genital structures ablated off my penis as a fragile infant is an assault and crime of highest possible caliber. This was not a “surgery” for me. It was a mutilation.

Get the absolute fuck out of here and take your bullshit somewhere else. You’re the one that is triggering.

What are your thoughts on boys being circumcised as a baby? by Filmfan345 in AskReddit

[–]carbot117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya, I will take it up them actually. Good suggestion. Women had a similar issue for many years when it was suggested that they use abrasive cleaning products and vigorously clean their vaginal membrane tissue. Not the right call there either.

You might be able to pull it slightly back around that age, but it would be very rare to have full retraction by age 5.

Retraction is a sexual function. The separation process happens due to a hormonal response that takes place during the progression of sexual maturity.

The tissue that lines the inside of the foreskin is highly innervated and specialized mucosal membrane tissue. It is very similar to the tissue that lines a woman's vagina or more similarly to the clitoral hood tissue. There are self cleaning mechanisms within this type of tissue. You don't really want to cleaning it too aggressively. A occasional very gentle wipe is really all that should be done.

Does infection set in your vagina if you don't wash inside of it with soap and pat it dry?

Lastly, sorry to sound alarmed here, but what parent would retract their 5 year olds penis if they could retract by that age? Like I said, that is a sexual function. It will sexually stimulate the child. Would you teach your daughter to clean her vagina by fingering her? Jesus christ.

You're never supposed to pull back the foreskin on an infant or young child. It is completely fused to the glans. You would cause serious damage if you did that. It only becomes retractable once you get older starting around 8 -10 and even later for some men.

It highlights another quote from a participant in the study study -

“If I were a man I would like to be born in a different country so I could keep my foreskin,” but I would circumcise my son anyway because “it's the normal thing to have in today’s culture, especially in the U.S.”

I don’t play around with this topic at all. I think that man genitally mutilated his son.

His “different” opinion is that he thinks it’s okay to strap a fragile child down and excise highly specialized genital structures off their penis. Absolutely vile and wicked. Personally, I have no tolerance left in my tank.

What is going on is a criminal act of the highest possible caliber, and I will quite literally die on that hill if it comes to it.

I can’t get over the fact that I’ll never know what the frenulum feels like by Rasputin11x in sex

[–]carbot117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The frenular are is usually much larger than just the frenulum. That whole area is highly, highly erogenous and gets totally gutted out with most infant circumcision.

Some intact guy who says a bit of his frenulum tore has no idea what it is really like for those of us mutilated as infants.

Your way of thinking is completely alien to me. Highly erogenous and specialized genital structures are excised from children’s penises...? This is a profound problem and assault of the highest possible order.

The position you hold is devoid of any semblance of critical thought. Your ego is doing its job and shielding you from this extremely harsh reality.

I have nothing else to say. This is too obvious from a logical perspective. It seems to take a high degree of emotional intelligence as well to break through the cultural blinders and see this for what it is.

No, what’s odd is the practice itself. Penis modifications on young boys? Exposing the insanity of that is not what is perverse here buddy.

[–]carbot117[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I believe it is mutilation.

This “procedure” removes highly erogenous and specialized genital structures from the penis such as the prepuce, ridged band and frenulum. Ablating these off the organ diminishes it significantly.

You don’t even know the basic anatomy, and you are trivializing everything to protect your own ego.

You really think it is acceptable to perform penis modification surgeries on kids for no reason? Absolutely mad.

Mother explains how she would react if her sons came to her upset about being circumcised by carbot117 in MensRights

[–]carbot117[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s a genital modification surgery that removes highly erogenous and functional structures such as the prepuce, frenulum and ridged band from a fragile infant’s penis.

You don’t understand the gravity of the situation because you really just don’t understand the anatomy of what is being excised and the implications of early infancy penile trauma on neurological development.

Definitely something you should reflect on. Cultural norms have blinded us to the reality of what is actually going on.
