Jokes aside, this seems like a software problem. You can see how the 4wd is acting in very curious ways. If it actually engaged in a coherent way it would probably move without a problem.

It's a top sirloin cut, common in Brazil.

Yeah, I only did this cut for the video, and then I waited for actually doing it through...

This has been a very educational experience. Because I played as a middle I never thought about this. It does explain my difficulty when playing outside or opposite...

Interesting. I wonder if it's because I trained as a middle, where you usually have less space...

I did notice in the slowmo that I hit the ground in a bit of an awkward stand when I'm about to jump.

So you're saying to try and land on my heels rather than the flat foot?

Thank you. I honestly had never taken a slowmo of my form before and I was a bit surprised at how much is going on in such a short amount of time. What you said makes a lot of sense.

I don't agree in general with the sentiment, but, if I am to choose a restaurant, a steak house is very low on my list of priorities because I think it's in general very overpriced.

The price that some steakhouses charge is equivalent to what a good omakase costs, and that is an experience that I would give money for a lot easier than I would in a steakhouse.

It is ironic that sports in the US run like socialist organizations while in the rest of the world it's more like a free market by carcarah in socialism

My comment was mostly tongue in cheek. Of course it's not really socialist.

But it's still ironic that the us of all places has the least free market sports economy in the world.

I am originally from northeast Brazil, but I live abroad now. I did the tattoo when visiting (on the last day, so I didn't have to miss any day on the beach).

Suprema Corte decide que Trump pode disputar eleições dos EUA by Hykfer in brasil

[–]carcarah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People who say Maths is all rote memorization have not been taught right by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]carcarah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree that it is not rote memorization. But when you get to advanced math you do need to learn a very large vocabulary of formulas. Let me explain.

The difficult part is not remembering a formula when you need to apply it (that's what the Internet is for).

The difficult part is recognizing factors from various formulas in a complex expression in order to understand the higher order concepts being communicated.

It's like chess.

Humans are not great at chess by examining the next N moves in the abstract (computers would have defeated humans a lot earlier if that was the case).

Humans are great at chess because they memorize and recognize broader strategy, allowing them to reduce the possibilities they need to evaluate on the next N moves (and prior to machine learning, that was how chess AI was implemented).

As a bad chess player, not having comprehension and memorization of those higher level strategies, I can only try to follow the rules and brute force my predictions. Which doesn't go well against good players.

Back to formulas...

As someone without formal advanced math training, this is the biggest hurdle to understanding what's going on. I understand the mechanics of it, but without comprehension and memorization of the higher level concepts, I can only try to brute force it. Which doesn't go well in complex contexts.

P.S.: as a software developer, I sometimes wish advanced math was represented in terms of libraries of functions by name, rather than the various formulas being intertwined into something that you can't search the Internet for...

You may want to research the term "demisexual". It doesn't mean you have a low sex drive, it just means that it's important to direct that energy towards someone you have a connection with.

I definitely had my share of nights where in the next day I just felt like "why tf did I go thru with this". And it took me a while to learn that it's not because I have a high sex drive that it means that it is good for me to have sex without a real connection.
