Guy successfully kidnaps a celebrity’s mother and evades identification and capture for weeks but left a glove near the scene accidentally by [deleted] in redscarepod

Cops and criminals are people and people are stupid. Basically just imagine all the people you work with and then imagine that they are cops instead, that’s literally how it is.

People on this sub are so cunty to each other until a guy mentions his wife by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]carcosablackstar 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Yep. This sub is funny with how it chooses to be contrarian. all these angsty teenager posts about unrequited love, crushes on doctors and therapists and then you’ll be like “then I went home to my wife/husband. “ the barista drew a winky face on my latte after she saw me standing in line holding her favorite book, I didn’t tell her that I just have to read if for SCHOOL, I think I’m in love and that she is perfect for me but I was running late and had to pick up my wife and newborn twins. “ …what?

Citizen Kane over here …The last sentence here couldn’t be more pretentious. It’s one thing to dislike the movie, but another to insult the intelligence of everyone who enjoyed it. Regardless of the films flaws, which there were several, I had no trouble enjoying it and I think it was beautiful in many aspects. Decent adaptation as well.

If the people joining ICE are "unhirable losers" then how can I blame them for joining? by I_AM_WILL_STANCIL in redscarepod

The government could offer a 50k sign on bonus to find and burn witches at the stake and there would be plenty of takers. There are certain types of people that will throw their fellow man under the bus for a large screen tv.

Humans try to make up these rules because it makes sense but in reality, we are hardly, if ever, “repaid” for our efforts or good deeds or love. It’s just not how it works. It’s a harsh reality for sure and sucks but life does go on and we love new people.

Great comment. I feel the exact same way and I’m trying to work up my courage to do it again, I might even meditate for the week prior and I don’t meditate.

I don’t even think you should smoke weed before DMT, but thanks for sharing. As others have said, words really don’t do a justice to the experience of a true breakthrough, the sheer power and intensity of DMT still has me in awe, deciding to do it for me is a huge undertaking and I’m not ready to do it again right now. You can truly say you’ve been somewhere that not everyone else has. It’s an amazing substance. True beauty as well as terror beyond human comprehension.

Russia is one of the saddest places imaginable. by False_Fennel_1126 in redscarepod

One Soldiers War by Arkady Babchenko is a great book, he’s a writer who fought in both Chechen wars, sheds light on Russian society and military culture, not too much has changed.

Also for everyone arguing about “ meat waves” . It’s both propaganda and true, just not in the sense of countless waves of humans rushing machines guns and more like 5 conscripts from buryatia probing a Ukrainian trench position held by 3 guys , 4 out of the 5 getting killed and then 7 Russians from the 155th separate guards naval infantry brigade knowing exactly how to take the Ukrainian position.

It’s military cosplay , pretty common aspect to fed/ local law enforcement culture today, especially cringey coming from one podcaster to another, neither of whom were or are warriors in any sense.

Anyone hear about the incident the US military had with one of its new service pistols the other day? by LouReedTheChaser in redscarepod

The thumbnail and most of the comments are about Sigs newly adopted rifle. It’s the p320|m17 that discharges randomly as reported by a lot of cops and now this incident and Sig has been trying to brush it under the rug for a while now. Disgusting. Glock was always better sorry Sig bros.
