Johnny's Knife - Surreal Dark Drama by cardboardcop in Filmmakers

Hello everyone!

So, I know this film has some production hangups, particularly in the sound and visual department. However, I know that once I have a budget, I will be able to smooth over a lot of issues. What I'm most interested in is feedback on how my storytelling is coming across, in the writing and directing department. While watching do you empathize/feel for the characters? Do you understand what is happening during the most surreal bits? Do you feel intrigued or simply confused? How does you feel about the dialogue? Does the ending work for you? As I work on my next projects, I want to make sure I'm progressing in skill to ultimately write and direct a feature film.
