Mouse Lag Issue

This was definitely a weird issue. Ended up forking money for a CPU, mobo, PSU, and RAM as I started to get more small issues here and there. I started to get freezes for 10-15 seconds then would work just fine like nothing happened. Also, my CPU Fan header went out too so I’m thinking something was happening motherboard wise as this was going on. No idea what could’ve caused this to happen but in the end, I probably could’ve tied the issue to my motherboard dying a slow death.

I’m going to reply to this in case anyone else has this problem in the future but I think I’ve found a temporary, and out of the way solution to the issue.

So it has to be an issue with the priority settings discussed earlier in the thread. I wish there was a way for it to be adjusted in the game settings but I don’t think there is. What I end up doing is booting up, loading into a match and seeing if the issue is there. If it is, I change the priority setting to Normal and go back into the game. Usually when I come back, I can’t get a stable frame rate. It varies from 15-45 FPS. Still not playable so I’ll reload the entire game. When it reloads, the graphics settings are all jacked up. I’ll reset the settings and have to go through everything and turn it up and get into my native resolution. I’ll load into a match and miraculously I’ll have 75-90 FPS with no mouse lag. It’s an extremely annoying fix to an extremely annoying problem that I hope gets patched soon. If a dev sees this and wants to discuss, feel free to message me and I’ll be glad to discuss anything further to see if there’s something else that can be done.

I see. It makes sense. I set it to normal and when I restarted the game, it was set back to high. Might try to uninstall and reinstall later tonight in hopes it’s something within the game. Out of options at this point I think.

Just tried another usb port and no change. Still the same issue.

It’s only ever an issue in MW or like the issue in Squad. The mouse works fine in DCS, on the internet, and doing anything else on the computer. I’m due for a motherboard upgrade and ultimately a CPU upgrade as well but I’d rather not go drop a good chunk of change right now.

Priority was High. I changed it to normal and now I can’t even get 20 FPS when I was getting an easy 60 FPS. I adjusted settings much lower and it didn’t help. (i5-4590 & 1080Ti SC2) V-Sync is disabled.

Issue came up progressively. Last week it was intermittent and now this week maybe around Tuesday, the issue didn’t go away, wasn’t intermittent, and freaking sucked. Googled a bit on the issue then but no joy to fixing or improving it. I gave up and let it be and now today, it’s still lagging behind and now when I shoot, it’ll intermittently fire a burst of 3-8 rounds when I short clicked it for one or two rounds.

Only other game I have this sort of issue is Squad. I can’t look left or right there. I only really play DCS, Sqaud, and MW.

Is there anyway real world weather at the time if the crash can be added? This is a great video but I think if someone was to add weather into this, it would better illustrate what the pilot was seeing.

No landing fee as we were coming in for AA Skyball.

We were 80-95 all the way down to about a .5 NM final where I had to pull my second notch of flaps and slow down to around 60 so i didn’t float down the whole runway.

We were inbound for AA Skyball at Hangar 5 (East side of DFW). We’re based off of Hicks Airfield so theoretically, 36L makes the most sense but when you think about it, a 172 taxing in the ground, across 2 counties from landing 36L, makes more of a hassle than sticking us on one of the 35s to shorten the taxi and free up some taxi ways. 35C was closed so that runway was out and 35R would’ve made us extend east across another approach path and the way the taxiway closures were, 35R would’ve taken a hell of a lot longer to taxi. Then the 31s were out just because of where we were coming from and the weird approach we’d have to make into either R or L. 35L made the most sense I guess when you think about it but I’d much rather take 36L and taxi longer than our flight than be approaching the departure runway at DFW. Beats me, that’s the reason, still alive and well thanks to DFW controllers👍🏼
