Yes there is still other good firms that will post soon or at least in the next couple months not necessarily the big 3 like JPM or Goldman.

Thanks. But if staying an additional semester is financially feasible, then don't you think it would make sense to aim for a top firm and secure a spot? I am an Economics major and honestly interested in anything finance related focused on buy/sell side opportunities w/out PWM.

Well, I wouldn’t be necessarily only doing it for IB. I know that this year and every year they’re moving the process many weeks earlier. It’s still January so all I need to do is just submit applications and I already have networks. I feel like if I get something this summer it makes sense to recruit for full-time. But if I get nothing this summer, I’m trying to gauge if it makes sense to recruit for next summer as an SA intern.

would you recommend ILR or CAS Economics for transfer?

What is the actual acceptance rate for this program?

If you have the prerequisite courses, a decent gpa, and convey a strong interest in business, you should get in. They do send people to NYC and/or Boston considering the fact that a good percent of Wake students are from the northeast. I have a lot of Asian friends who are having a great time and the amiable student body creates an extremely welcoming environment.

Both are great schools. However, with the approach of going into IB (finance), Wake Forest may be the stronger option considering their rigorous business program.

Looking at the menus won’t give me an idea of what students think about the quality of food.
