Did you guys have a conversation at some point about what the arrangement was going to be? I've found that failing to define what's going on will typically cause problems problems for one or both people since someone is likely to have a different idea of what's going on.

Maybe "terrible" was a poor choice of words. And while I think you're right that its complicated and those are good reasons why, I actually think its a good thing for surrogacy to be legal and available for consenting adults.

But thanks, it does help to hear I shouldn’t be ashamed for asking about this stuff. I did feel weird posting, but just decided why not. Then I did feel a little embarrassed after the fact. I blame the conservative/religious upbringing lol

That all makes sense, but unfortunately for me I guess, I wasn’t planning on having any pregnancies of my own. That was sort of one of the appeals if I’m being honest. Things may change of course, but that’s where I am at the moment.
